Where to walk, walking routes and places to visit in Abbotsbury.

St. Catherine's Chapel has beautiful panoramic views over-looking Abbotsbury Village, Abbotsbury Swannery, Chesil Beach and the surrounding countryside. The walk to the top is fairly steep but well worth it.

As you begin the decent from St. Catherine's Chapel, walk over to the stone wall to the right. There is a cobble path that leads you back down the hill. At the bottom of the hill there are tracks that take you past an old bunker and into a woodland area.

Once you have completed the walk around the Chapel you will end up at small stream. You can walk right towards Abbotsbury Swannery and Kennels Cafe or left back towards Abbotsbury Village and Abbotsbury Children's Farm.
