Highcliffe is a perfect destination for a day out with all the family. Walksindorset.co.uk recommends you start your walk by the main car park next to the Cliffhanger Cafe and head right. As you walk down to the beach front you have the option of walking along by the sea or through the many paths and tracks under the trees and hedges.
As you walk right along the sea front you will reach a zig zag that takes you up to the amazing Highcliffe Castle. The Castle has a large green area for children to run around and play in, gardens, toilets, cafe and a pay and display car park.
If you leave the Castle grounds and head for the woodland area you will enter Steamer Point Nature Reserve. This area is has woodland walks, viewpoints, wildlife and picnic areas.
