Tuckton is probably not known for its popularity as a tourist destination but has a surprise or two up its sleeve. This quiet village has a beautiful walk along the River Stour with views over Christchurch on the opposite side. The area is popular with locals and is generally very clean.

The best part of Tuckton is the opportunity to walk to Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve. Begin your walk at the Tuckton Tea Gardens and walk along the River Stour. A few minutes later you will come across the green wooden entrance sign to the reserve. From here you just follow the tracks to Hengistbury Head.
